Don’t forget the Boy Scouts Makahiki this Saturday at Kaua‘i Community College. That’s just one of the many things happening the day before Easter.
Clorinda Brede said she’ll be at the Big Save Easter Egg Hunt at the Historic County Building and that’s a good starting point. Gary Furugen (he was at the Kukui‘ula Shopping Village Chamber open house) said he’ll be there too. The big question is just how long does it take those little ones to find the hundreds (thousands?) of eggs?
Of course, there’s always a full schedule of KIF sports on top of everything. Hopefully, KSA soccer returns to the North Vidinha fields. Eric Fujimoto was at Kapa‘a Beach Park to watch his daughter play, and Kenny Rapozo knows when to bring the umbrella.
Hats off to Trinette Kaui and all the Contractors Association of Kaua‘i people on a great 2009 Home Show (hope the shopping spree winner doesn’t do the spree this Saturday).
Jason Yotsuda came home for the event and looks better in person than when he does traffic — must be the Kaua‘i air. Joe Grace had a special goteburg and rice bowl with furikake (how many people went to eat dinner after the track meet?) in addition to his usual good stuff.
