Mahalo to Donna Umetsu for going the extra mile to get the tennis results out. Donna said her computer was having problems so she had to go to the Waimea Library to get the results e-mailed.
Mahalo, too, to Ross Shimabukuro for the updates on the rain delays for the KIF baseball game. Lanan Rice-Kashima got a visit from Honolulu relatives who had time to take in the Big Save Easter Egg Hunt due to the rain (Ron Wiley said it stopped two minutes before the hunt was supposed to start).
Ron was emcee-ing the Ukulele Festival at Kukui Grove and making sure everyone knew which stores were going to be open on Easter.
Gini Kapali was at the Big Save event and Marlo Lewis Medeiros was not afraid to stand in line for the post-hunt goodies. She was trying to figure out if they were going to the KCC Hunt afterwards, but Gini said one egg hunt is enough.
Hats off to Bill Arakaki and the Aloha Council of the Boy Scouts on a great Makahiki at KCC (it helps that tennis was at KCC, too). That was a great chance to see Jim Rosa (missed him at the March for Babies) and if you need to make a hovercraft, he knows how.
OK, time to file taxes — deadline looms!
