Hatsuno Betty Nishikawa of Waimea died on May 20, 2009, in her home at age 93. Born July 15, 1915, in San Gabriel, Calif., she was a sales clerk with J. Okada Store.
She is survived by son Harris Nishikawa of Waimea; daughter Carol (Richard) Rodriguez of Pueblo, Colo.; grandchildren Eve and Daniel Nishikawa; sisters Terri Kimura of Colorado, Lillian Bayquen of California, Kit Mizukami of California, Marilyn Watari of California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 10-11a.m.; service at 11 a.m., June 6, at Kalaheo Missionary Church. Casual attire suggested; flowers are omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, LTD.
Victoria Toki
Victoria Lucia Toki formerly of Kapa‘a died on May 19, 2009, in her home in Glendale, Ariz., at age 60. She was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Hawai‘i.
She was preceded by parents Adela and Silverio Galvez and brother Leonard.
She is survived by husband Geral Toki of Glendale, Ariz.; daughters Mayve (Troy) Reed of Glendale, Ariz., and Sharon (Robert) Toki Coleman of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Catherine Galvez and Adele Marie Galvez; brothers Francis Galvez and Richard Galvez; and three granddaughters.
A memorial service was held on May 23, 2009, by Heritage Funeral Chapel in Phoenix, Ariz. Her ashes will be scattered on a later date in Kaua‘i as she wished.

Yukio Nakao
Yukio Nakao of Hanapepe died on May 26, 2009, in his home at age 91. Born in Wahiawa, Kaua‘i, he was the owner/manager of Echo Lanes.
He is survived by wife Loretta Nakao; son Thad Nakao of Hanapepe; daughters Arnette (Roland) Lee of Hanapepe, Ceseli (Michael) Fujioka of Hawai‘i Kai, Dreanna Nakao of Manhattan; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Yasuo (Michiyo) Nakao of Pearl City; sisters Kayo Nakao of Oahu, Fumie (Harry) Beppu of Hanapepe and Hideyo Nakao of Oahu.
Visitation at 2 p.m., service at 3 p.m., June 4, at Hanapepe Hongwanji Church.
Casual attire suggested, flowers omitted.
