She is survived by children Anita Barnes, Arnold Lorita Jr., Felicia Bonachita., Joyce Guzman, Patricia Viquelia, Philip Lorita, Derek Lorita; brothers John Canon, Albert Canon, Eddie Canon and George Canon.
Service 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, at Sacred Hearts Church, ‘Ele‘ele.

Margarita Taylan Coloma of Hanama‘ulu died May 19, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 89. Born Feb. 20, 1920, in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by daughter Elena (Napoleon) Comisap of Hanama‘ulu, son Reynalda (Brenda) Coloma of Hanama‘ulu, sister Francesca Pagtulingan of Las Vegas, Antonia Taylan of the Philippines, Beatrice Taylan of the Philippines, six gradchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 30, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing 8:30-9:45 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m.
Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

James Evans
James P. Evans of Kilauea died May 20, 2009, in his home at age 80. Born Nov. 14, 1928, in Honolulu, he was a chef at Chuck’s Steak House.
He was preceded in death by sisters Ethel Evans and Hariet Evans.
He is survived by wife Aida Evans of Kilauea, daughter Kimberly Evans of Kilauea, sister Gabby Clark of O‘ahu and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 9-10 a.m. on May 29, at St. Sylvester’s Church in Kilauea; Mass at 10-10:45 a.m.; casual attire suggested.

Cindy Ah Lun Haunani Rojas of Anahola, died on May 17, 2009 in her home at age 52. Born on Jan. 18, 1957, she worked as a concierge and other various positions in the hotel industry.
She was preceded in death by parents Muriel and Zacarias Rojas, brother Timothy Surveyor and sister Michelle Escoto.
She is survived by daughter Kamala Rojas; sisters Flora (Pedro) Camalliri, Ruth Surveyor, Josephine (Tomas) Refamonte, Mona Mae Caldeira, June “Dolly” Chang, Marica Patterson, Kathlen Andrew, Karen Singson, Jessie Saulson, Judy Cooper and Lisa Allen; brothers Edwin Caldeira and David Surveyor Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 8-9 a.m., May 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kapa‘a. Services will be from 9-10 a.m. and inurnment at 1 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
