Nick Beck, retired principal of Hanalei School, stopped in Oregon en route to an outrigger canoe clinic in Anapolis, Md.
Beck stopped in Oregon, Saturday, to congratulate daughter Nikki Beck who graduated from the George Fox University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Christian Ministries. She was also the baccalaureate speaker for her class.
In Annapolis, Nick Beck will be leading an outrigger canoe coaching and steering clinic at the annual East Coast Outrigger Canoe Association meeting on Kent Island, this Saturday (May 9).
He shipped one of his holopuni sailing canoes to Annapolis where be plans to use it to present an outrigger canoe sailing exhibition during his appearance.
