It was also nice chatting with Liz Ronaldson of Growing Greens who had some fancy anthurium (anyone check out the one with the black flowers?) and begonias.
Paul Ito, Jonel Kaohelaulii and the Kukui Grove and Puakea Golf Course people did an amazing job with the Play Golf America program, Saturday.
But the biggest surprise was Beth Sette (how many Beth’s are there at Waimea High School?) and her Menehune photography students that had a nice display at the Kaua‘i Society of Artists gallery. Beth said she’s going to try and keep the display up for the week, but…

Clyde Vito got to shoot the gun since Pat Viernes had to oversee the event (Aaron Uyeda was on O‘ahu with the Kaua‘i High School baseball team).
