‘I was on my lunch break at Poi‘pu Beach on Friday and saw this huge cloud coming up from the ground around noon,’ writes Keith Amano. ‘Is this something normal and ordinary? It dissipated a few minutes later. There was no dark smoke. Steam, maybe? A tourist got all excited and thought it was a volcano. I assured her it wasn’t that. I didn’t see any news about it.
