MOLOA‘A — The Kaua‘i Police Department is looking for a suspect in a sexual assault incident that occurred in Moloa‘a on Wednesday, according to a press release.
The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old. He is about five-feet, eight-inches tall with a slim build, a dark complexion, and dark, wavy hair that’s pulled back in a pony tail.
A Caucasian woman was hitchhiking in Kapa‘a when she was picked up by a man driving an older model, four-door silver sedan at around 7 p.m., according to police.
Traveling northbound to Hanalei, the man stopped along the way and assaulted the woman, according to the release.
