A horseshoe pitching Singles Count-All League will be starting at the Anahola Horseshoe courts at 10 a.m., Sunday, said MyrtleMay Kamoku, National Horseshoe Pitchers’ Association Regional Director – Hawai‘i Region and the Hawai‘i State Horseshow Pitchers Association president.
The league will run for eight weeks on Sundays at the Anahola courts, culminating with the HSHPA State Singles Championships during the Labor Day weekend.
People interested in participating will need to join the HSHPA Charter and will need two sanctioned events.
Kamoku said the league starting on Sunday counts as one event, and the association will be hosting another sanctioned tournament in August for those needing these events to qualify for the championships.
Interested people can call Kamoku at 634-8367.
