Clayton Jensen
Clayton F. Jensen of Kapa‘a died June 15, 2009 at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu at age 54. Born on April 10, 1955 in Bell, Calif., he was the owner of Claytons Construction and the keeper of the KQNG gorilla for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Siguard and Violet Jensen, in-laws Charlie and Patricia Williamson and brother-in-law Michael Greiner.
He is survived by his wife Beth Jensen; son Eric Jensen of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter Sheena (Chad) Adams of Novi, Mich.; brother Theron Jensen of Reno, Nev.; sister Althea (Gerald) Bennett of Long Beach, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
Scattering of his ashes will be done privately with his family at a later date.
A celebration of life potluck will take place at his Kapahi residence at 2 p.m., on Sunday, June 28.
George Mills
George Kohle Mills of Kapa‘a died on June 22, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 81. Born on Jan. 4, 1928 in Hollywood, Calif., he was retired as the managing director of Tokyo Disneyland.
He is survived by his wife Joan Mills, son Larry (Angelito) Mills, daughter Jeanette (Jeffery) Staberg, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are private.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Mills family with arrangements.
Landis Fu
Landis Lono Kwai Chun Fu died on June 11, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital, in New York, at age 65. He was born on Nov. 4, 1943 on Kaua‘i.
He was preceded in death by his son Eric, daughter Melody, sister Drucilla Louis, mother Alice A. Maglinti, father Lono Fu and stepfather John Maglinti Jr.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Fu of New York; daughters Brenda Maynard and Melissa (Josh) Sanchez of New York; sons Wesley Fu and Aaron (Danielle) Fu of New York; nine grandchildren; brothers Vernon (Lynn) Fu and Lance (Roni) Fu of Kaua‘i; sisters Ilona (Warren) Moritsugu, Lissa Fu, Lona Duque, Lani (Darrin) Gomes, Lynn (Russell) Leong, Leilani (Kip) Furugen, all of Kaua‘i and stepmother Francis Fu.
A celebration of his life was held at Hoosic Valley Community Church in New York. Services on Kaua‘i will be on a later date.
Brian Pacheco Jr.
Brian “Kala” Joseph Alohikala Pacheco Jr. of Hanapepe, died on June 19, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 21. Born on July 8, 1987 in O‘ahu, he was a marine crewman for charter boats.
He is survived by his father Brian (Bernadette Vea) Pacheco Sr. of Hanapepe; mother Pualokelani Ramones; sister Jennifer (Keola Pruett Sr.) Ader; nephew Keola Pruett Jr.; step brothers Bryon, Blayne and Bryson Vea; grandfather William Pacheco; numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Brian’s “Kala” life will be held on Friday, June 26, at Shipwreck’s Beach at 5 p.m.
Anthony Torio
Anthony Torio of Kilauea, died on June 5, 2009 at Straub Hospital at age 52. He was a dedicated worker for 30 years at Kilauea Agronomics (Guava Kai).
He was preceded in death by father Nicomedes E. Torio Sr., mother Maggie K. Torio and brother Nicomedes E. Torio Jr.
He is survived by brothers James (Marie) Torio Sr. of Anahola, Soloman (Joan) Torio of Anahola, Thomas Torio of Kilauea; sister Lynette M. Viluan of Kilauea; eight nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; many uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.
A memorial will be held in honor of his life at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 27, at Anini Beach Park.

Antonio Salvador
Antonio Lucas Salvador of Hanama‘ulu, died on June 16, 2009 in Honolulu, at age 89. Born on Feb. 12, 1920 in San Nicolas, Philippines, he retired as an irrigator for Lihu‘e Plantation Co. Ltd and a pruner for Kilauea Agronomics, Inc.
He is survived by his wife Carlina Salvador of Hanama‘ulu; children Christine (Virgilio) Cacal of Honolulu, Aileen Salvador of Honolulu, Joseph Salvador of Honolulu and Terencio (Leticia) Salvador of Hanama‘ulu; grandchildren Faith Cacal, Hope Cacal and Virgilio Cacal III.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, June 27, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 8-9:45 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Salvador family with arrangements.
