Dimeterio “Dime” Mier Dannog of Numila died July 9, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 75. Born Feb. 18, 1934, in Koloa, he was a pump tender for McBryde Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by parents Mariano and Maria Dannog, and sisters Annie Racelis and Rita Mira.
He is survived by wife Nena Caoagas Dannog of Numila, sons Jayson Dannog and Brandon Dannog of Numila, sisters Natividad Maainil of Nevada and Dolores Alpeche of Lihu‘e, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing from 9-10:30 a.m., Mass at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Burial at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Casual attire suggested.

Harris Tatsuo Moriguchi of Lihu‘e died July 10, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 59. Born March 23, 1950, in Waimea, he was a retired police captain with Kaua‘i County.
He is survived by wife Laraine Moriguchi, son Mason Moriguchi of Waimea, daughter Mia Moriguchi of Honolulu, brothers Charles (Betty) Moriguchi of Kekaha and Bert (Lynn) Moriguchi of Kailua, sister Jane (Barney) Mateo of ‘Ele‘ele, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing from 9-11 a.m., service at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel.
Casual attire suggested; flowers are omitted.
