Pauline Bukoski Silva of Kalaheo died July 31, 2009, at Garden Isle Health Care at age 89. Born Feb. 13, 1920, in Koloa, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin G. Silva; sisters Elizabeth Tavares and Dorothy Silva; brothers Manuel Bukoski and Antone Bukoski.
She is survived by her sons Eugene (Kathy) Silva of Garden Grove, Calif., Nelson (Marina) Silva of Hanama‘ulu and Kenneth (Amy) Silva of Hanama‘ulu; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Frederick (Helen) Bukoski of Lawai; sisters-in-law Marian Silva, Margaret Bukoski and Flora Bukoski; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation 9-10:30 a.m., Mass at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Joni Michiko Kobayashi Craig of Kalaheo died July 31, 2009, at Straub Hospital at age 43. Born on Feb. 12, 1966, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, she was a police dispatcher with the Kaua‘i Police Department.
She was preceded in death by her father Hajime “Jimmy” Kobayashi.
She is survived by her husband Gary Craig; daughter Tori Craig; mother Conchita Kobayashi of Wailua; brother Jon (Leila) Kobayashi of Wailua; sister Debra Bahnmiller of Wailua; aunts and uncles Kenichi “Stupe” (Mary) Shimogawa of Kalaheo, Hazel Kobayashi of Kealia, Yasuto (Sue) Kobayashi o Kaumakani, Bobby (June) Kobayashi of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother-in-law Jason Craig; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation 4-5 p.m., service 5-6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Casual attire is suggested.

Patricia Borton of Waimea died March 25, 2009, at age 60. Born Aug. 23, 1948, in Louisiana, she was an artist.
No services will be held.

Dorothy Anne Souza of Kapa‘a died July 19, 2009, at her home at age 47. She was born Sept. 7, 1962, in Lihu‘e.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette Souza.
She is survived by her brothers Daniel (Tammy) Souza of Wailua Houselots, Jimmy Souza of Arizona, Bobby Souza of Kapa‘a, John Souza Jr. of Wailua Homesteads, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at Kapa‘a Missionary Church with visitation from 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Souza family with arrangements.
Raymond Konvick
Raymond Henry Konvick of Kapa‘a died Aug. 5, 2009, at his home at age 77. Born on April 12, 1932, in Pasadena, Texas, he was a retired electronic engineer.
He is survived by his wife Evangeline Konvick, sons Tom Konvick and Steve Konvick, stepdaughter Anne (Vance) Yamamoto and five grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 14, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Ruth Becht
Ruth W. Becht of Wahiawa died Aug. 3, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 89. Born Jan. 6, 1920, on O‘ahu, she was a personnel manager for the U.S. Army.
She is survived by her daughters Gloria (Cliff) Nakea, granddaughters Christiane (Mike) Nakea-Tresler and Deatri Nakea and great-granddaughter Lindsey Nakea-Tresler.
Memorial service will be private.

Victoria Lucia Toki formerly of Kapa‘a died May 19, 2009, at her home in Glendale, Ariz., at age 60. She was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Hawai‘i.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adela and Silverio Galvez and brother Leonard.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Toki of Glendale, Ariz.; daughters Mayve (Troy) Reed of Glendale, Ariz. and Sharon (Robert) Toki Coleman of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Catherine Galvez and Adele Marie Galvez; brothers Francis Galvez and Richard Galvez; and four granddaughters.
Service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a.
