Hats off to Lilane Corpuz, Teddy Arroyo and the Lihu‘e Pop Warner Association on a great inter-team scrimmage, Wednesday!
The event pulled parents from the Lihu‘e and Kapa‘a associations together along the fenceline across the former Immaculate Conception (they celebrate its 125th anniversary, today!) school, and Teddy even got some referees to help with the match.
Congratulations to Richard Kuga for hosting the 6th Annual General Atomics Science Show and Expo, again! Kevin Matsunaga’s video class does an amazing job recording the event, and Capt. Aaron Cudnohufsky was able to juggle attending that and still making it to Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor for the blessing.
Maile Moriguchi was helping Shelly Paik and Lynda Okayama (wonder if Dean is contemplating the new Nikon D300s…) at the event, but Saturday will be AYSO, Region 940 day.
Wayne Miyata said Saturday is the 3-Club tournament for Junior Golfers at Kukuiolono Golf Course (any good breakfast places up there?), so soccer might be at Kalawai Park.
On the subject of food, Carmen Centano said Kaua‘i Community College Fine Dining starts Tuesday, and Cheri Bagain is already trying to figure out how to make all that happen.
