• A Thursday article entitled “Kaua‘i United Way passes on savings gained through ownership of their office” should state that KUW Board Vice President Kathy Miyake works at Central Pacific Bank.
• Kaua‘i’s Nage Melamed was still competing in the repercharge heats at the Billabong ISA World Games at Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica, as of Wednesday. She was one of 12 female surfers still in the competition. She was then eliminated in Round Six of the repercharge bracket.
