Applications and sponsorship forms for the Kaua‘i High School Football Boosters Golf Tournament are now available.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to acquire equipment for the Red Raider football program.
“This equipment is needed for the training and safety of our players,” said Ron Victorino Jr., president of the Kaua‘i High School Football Boosters.
The tournament will be played Oct. 18 at the Puakea Golf Course with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Format is a three-person scramble with a 20 percent combined team handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 26, and for women, 36.
Entry fee is $100 per player and includes green fees, Closest-to-the-Hole contests, Long Drive contests, and the awards luncheon that will follow the tournament at the Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center.
Tee sponsorships are $100, and Victorino said donations for prizes and scholarships are also welcome.
As a sponsor, donors will be listed on the Kaua‘i High School Football Boosters list of sponsors and will also receive recognition as a tournament supporter during the awards luncheon.
