Dude dog is the third canine on the scene, serving as the inspiration for the basic Dude Dog at the hot dog place that just opened. He is the third D in Dale and Dana Morris’ family and is in the center of all the famous dogs on the Dude dog wall. Veronica Lovesy (isn’t that a great name?) just loves it…she was dropping off Dale’s new placard.
OK, so Kenny Ishii is now excited, and it’s not about the shave ice that Ono Family Restaurant serves each afternoon for four hours.
Mainland Kevin (that’s his e-mail moniker) and his wife dropped in for lunch, had shave ice for dessert, and is even going back to Louisiana with a Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. designed shirt that has the Hawai‘i-New Orleans connection. Talk about “touristless” (that’s a Mainland Kevin term), it doesn’t get more Kaua‘i-made than that.
And, it doesn’t end there because he’s got connections to some Japanese media types that’s here for the Kaua‘i Marathon, too.
If you’re driving South shore, or heading West, watch out for the runners!
