Laura Cristobal is excited about the Salty Wahine line of seasonings (ask her about some of the health benefits) that she had out at the Kaua‘i Community Market, Saturday. Actually, she was more concerned that there has been so little time to enjoy some Aunty Lilikoi pie (how many minutes early can we get out to Waimea for the volleyball game tonight?).
Kendall Andersland was helping Laura with the salts and seasonings, Saturday, and was excited about training for the TriKaua‘i Triathlon (there’s a banner outside the Wal-Mart parking lot) coming up.
OK, so Kendall wasn’t the only one enjoying a day off from cross country because Amber Fujimoto was cruising through the football game, Friday night, happy to have a day off from running.
Taylor Ludington is on a roll right now. Not only did she come up with a solid shooting score at KIF riflery, Thursday, she topped the Barrels event at the Kaua‘i All Girls Rodeo Association final event, Sunday.
Raquel Kaui said her sister Rhonda was thrilled because she won the events she set her sights on — breakaway roping and steer undecorating. That almost didn’t happen, but Jim Miranda was at the wheel of the grader to scrape away some of the water in the arena.
OK, time to roll out to KIF volleyball in Waimea.
