Kanaele Road closed to through traffic on Dec. 22

KAPA‘A — Only local traffic will be allowed on Kanaele Road in Kapa‘a on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., due to roadwork scheduled that day, according to a county press release.

A Public Works crew will be setting up concrete barriers and signage denoting the change in traffic flow in the area. 

Due to erosion and a heavily damaged section of guardrails, the roadway will be converted to one-lane traffic along that section until permanent repairs can be made.
