Warren Tokuda
Warren Seichi Tokuda of Honolulu died Dec. 29, 2009, at Kuakini Medical Center at age 65. Born in Lihu‘e, he was a retired employee of the Department of Transportation Honolulu International Airport, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Teresita “Tessie” Tokuda of Honolulu; daughter Amy Tokuda of Honolulu; mother Nancy Tokuda of Lihu‘e; sisters Bernie (Erwin) Sakoda of Lihu‘e; Anne (Dennis) Tanioka of Honolulu.
Visitation at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
William Anguay
William Anguay of Kilauea, Kaua‘i, died Dec. 29, 2009, at Mahelona Hospital at age 77. Born on July 13, 1932, in Koolauloa Kahuku Township, he was a retired warehouse clerk at Hickam Air Force Base.
He was preceded in death by his wife Molly Lee Anguay; Rosario Anguay; parents Vitaliano and Geogina Anguay; daughter Tanya Swain; brother Albert Anguay; and sister Elsie Lariosa.
He is survived by his son William (Denis) Anguay of O‘ahu; stepchildren Lloyd (Cecelia) Bond of O‘ahu, Steven Bond of Kaua‘i, Dennis (Susan) Apilado of Kaua‘i, Jimmy Apilado of Kaua‘i, Shirley (Jordan Sr.) Kahananui of Kaua‘i, Barbara (Joseph) Nakamura of Kaua‘i and Joann (Wade) Apilado-Murabayashi of Kaua‘i; brothers Conrad Anguay of O‘ahu, Thomas Anguay of Utah and Villamor Anguay of O‘ahu; sisters Rose Dela Santo of O‘ahu and Nina Parco of Washington; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Jan. 11, at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapa‘a. Mass at 10 a.m.
Inurnment at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Punchbowl Cemetery in O‘ahu.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
Richard Tokunaga
Richard Rikio Tokunaga of Kapa‘a died Jan. 7, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 55. Born in Lihu‘e on Aug. 8, 1954, he was a self-employed painter.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Tokunaga.
He is survived by his mother Erin Tokunaga of Kapa‘a, sister Cynthia Yamada of O‘ahu and niece Rayna Yamada of O‘ahu.
Visitation at 4 p.m., service at 5 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 15, at Lihu‘e Hongwanji Mission.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Ed Kunioka-Volz
Ed Kunioka-Volz of Kapa‘a died Dec. 13, 2009, in Portland, Ore., at age 52. Born on Aug. 8, 1957, in Salem, Ore., he was a retired refrigeration pipefitter for O‘ahu Air Conditioning Service.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Volz Sr.
He is survived by his wife Sheri Kunioka-Volz; daughters Nichol Kunioka-Volz, Lani Kunioka-Volz and Kacie Kunioka-Volz; mother Jean Volz; brothers Bob Volz Jr., Joseph Volz, James Volz, Stephen Volz and Phillip Volz; sister Maria Brinker; in-laws Robert and Dorothy Kunioka, Karen and Randy Kawate, Kieth and Monica Kunioka, and Scott and Lori Kunioka.
Celebration of life at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center.

Guillermo Jacinto
Guillermo Unico Jacinto of Waimea, Kaua‘i, died Nov. 28, 2009, at Kaua‘i Care Center at age 101. Born on June 10, 1908, in Mangatarem Pangasinan, Philippines, he retired as a tractor operator and irrigator for Olokele Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Jacinto, and his parents Julian and Eulogia Jacinto.
He is survived by his wife Juana G. Jacinto; sons Ernesto G. Jacinto and Amador (Jan) Jacinto; daughter Veda Marie J. Pascua; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 16, at St. Theresa’s Church.
Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Luncheon will be held at the Hanapepe Pavilions, near the tennis courts.
Casual attire is suggested.
