Bill O’Rear and coach Jimmy Yagi were doing the Kaua‘i thing — enjoying lunch at the Tip Top upon arriving here for the basketball clinic.
Calvin Paleka was busy wrapping up a week of hosting basketball at the Bernice Hundley Gym and Reggie McCabe was everywhere with security since soccer was at the New Kapa‘a Town Park and basketball was at the school.
Stacy Serquina was not MIA, Friday night, but wait! The pages need to be done before leaving.
Outside the basketball court and soccer fields, Cyndi Ayonon was having a reunion with Moji Owolabi and Michael Robless (they were on the same flight between here and O‘ahu) and the wait for the mayor and Dr. Dileep Bal and Toni Torres was a good time to have a reunion … even gave Amanda Gregg an opportunity to get the photo op celebrity glasses.
If you have any aversion toward the influenza shot, talk to Moji, she’ll make you stand in line. Dana Hazelton was doing that at the KCC One Stop Center with the college’s nursing department, and Kim O’Brien said they’ll be doing it at the One Stop Center through the KCC late registration next week.
OK, time to check out first day of spring semester classes.
