Randall Francisco got to check out the maternity ward at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital on New Year’s before visiting his uncle.
Congratulations to Jacquelyn Lagoc (sister Lorraine is helping coach the Waimea High girls basketball team) on Jaxston being Kaua‘i’s New Year Baby! If Lorraine (she’s not going to be helping Anahola Joel Pahukula with basketball this year) went partying with Lanaly Caballo, she might have missed the event.
Kaleo Carvalho was also at the hospital where his relative had the distinction of being the last baby born at KVMH for 2009. Congratulations to all!
Congratulations also to David Allio (is he home yet?) on being named Exceptional Faces Photographer of the Year for 2009! David comes and goes, but has done work here, especially during the KIF pre-season football where he was shooting for a Mainland wire service.
Next Saturday, join Susan Pitman (Souper Bowl Sunday coming up soon!) and the Rotary Club of Po‘ipu Beach for its rummage sale at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center. If it’s anything like the Rotary Club of the North Shore, there should be some really good stuff to choose from.
