WAIMEA — The Waimea swimming pool will be closed to the public this Saturday for the Ed Ho Memorial Swim Meet, a county news release states.
Sponsored by the West Kaua‘i Lions Club, the event is held annually and is part of the Waimea Town Celebration.
The normal hours of operation at the Waimea pool are: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.
The pool is closed on Monday and holidays.
