Zonta Club of Kaua‘i announced that $1,000 high school scholarships will be given to deserving students with high academic achievements, a news release says.

Application are available from high school principals or counselors, the release says.

In addition a $1,000 scholarship will be given to a Kaua‘i Community College student who is seeking to further his or her education. Application deadline is March 24.

The Zonta Club of Hanalei will have its scholarship selection at a later date. The deadline is April 1. For more information on the Hanalei Club scholarships, call 828-2065.
