Easter Seals Hawai‘i, formerly The Arc of Kaua‘i, is pleased to announce the hire of Kaua‘i native Gerren Kahali Racca, son of Warren Racca and Maryann Ornellas, as the organization’s new Support Services Program Manager. Racca returns home to Kaua‘i following college at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and five years at home and community based organizations on the mainland working with senior citizens and people with disabilities.
As Support Services Program Manager, Racca will manage a team of 48 people and an operating budget of $1.4M. Support Services programs provide special education and one-to-one support to adults with disabilities in order for them to pursue lives of independence, self-determination and dignity. Racca was hired to take over as Program Manager from 22-year veteran Gail Lorenzo who is retiring.
J.C. Crouch
Garden Island Motorsports is pleased to announce the addition of J.C. Crouch to the sales staff of both Garden Island Motorsports and Kaua‘i Harley-Davidson. After having spent the last 21 months on Maui with the Harley-Davidson shop, Crouch returns to Kaua‘i and the motorcycle business where he spent the previous five and a half years.
Crouch will be splitting time at both locations and will be primarily focusing on sales to new and returning customers for street and dirt bike motorcycles, ATV’s, scooters and watercraft, as well as assisting the rental department at Kaua‘i Harley-Davidson.
Garden Island Motorsports is the authorized dealer for Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and KTM for sales, parts and services. Kaua‘i Harley-Davidson is the authorized dealer for Harley-Davidson and Buell, along with Harley-Davidson rentals.

Suzy Hollinger
Suzy Hollinger has joined Alexander & Baldwin as director, investor relations, according to a recent press release. She will be responsible for communication with the investment community and other key financial audiences and will report to A&B Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Christopher Benjamin.
Hollinger most recently was with Hawaiian Electric Industries where she served as manager, investor relations for nine years and also served as manager treasury for five of those years. Prior to joining HEI, Hollinger, a certified accountant, spent 13 years in public accounting with KPMG, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Hollinger earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics/accounting from Claremont McKenna College. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute, the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Hawai‘i Economic Association. She was a director of the Hawai‘i Society of Corporate Planners and the National Investor Relations Institute, Virtual Chapter.
Robert Gunter
Koloa Rum Company, recently announced Robert M. “Bob” Gunter has been named President of the company. In his expanded role, Gunter assumes full responsibility for all KRC operations, including its subsidiary Hawaiian Fruit Specialties, LLC, encompassing Production, Sales & Marketing, Administration and the Company’s Tasting Room & Company Store at Kilohana Plantation. Previously, Gunter served as General Manager and was instrumental in designing, constructing, permitting and commissioning KRC’s primary production facility in Kalaheo. In addition Gunter facilitated the product development, commencement of bottling operations, and the start-up of the Tasting Room & Company Store.
The Company also announced that Charles S. O’Neil, Jr. has been selected as Corporate Secretary. O’Neil is an Attorney with O’Connor Playdon & Guben, A Limited Law Partnership, with offices in Lihu‘e and Honolulu. Additionally, KRC’s co-founder, J. Gregory Schredder, will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors, as will Robert Weist, John Stein and Rita Gregory.
