LIHU‘E — Youngsters ages nine to 14 are invited to participate in the Hershey’s Track & Field Youth Program, states a county press release.
This program provides beginners with a chance to check out the sport and at the same time, gives experienced track and field athletes the opportunity to compete and prepare for Hershey’s national competition.
This year’s Hershey’s Track & Field Games is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 at Vidinha Stadium.
The deadline to register for the Hershey’s program is at 4 p.m., Friday.
Applications are available at all neighborhood centers and the Department of Parks and Recreation administrative office located in the Mo‘ikeha Building at the Lihu’e Civic Center.
Completed applications can be dropped off at any neighborhood center, faxed to 241-6858, or emailed to lihuenc@kauai.gov.
