Rose Schumacher Keahi of Anahola died April 3, 2010, at age 77. She retired as a preschool head teacher at Alphabetland School in Kahala for more than 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Charles Keahi and son Elmer C.K. Keahi.
She is survived by sons Scott Keahi of Arizona and Emerson (Flora Quick) Keahi of Anahola; daughter Twila (Bob) Otstot of Arizona; brothers Walter (Daisy) Schumacher of Honolulu and Rudolph (Ino) Schumacher of Las Vegas; sister Gladys Carter of West Virginia; daughter-in-law Joshlyn Keahi; grandchildren Diamond Keahi, Ramsey Keahi, Casey Keahi, Alex Keahi and Derek Keahi; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is at 9:30 a.m., services at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, April 12, at Diamond Head Mortuary. Inurnment to follow.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
