The workshop is for adult men and women who are motivated to work hard in a dynamic business. The film industry is an apprenticeship-oriented business: A person who works hard can create a great career opportunity.
• The workshop costs $80. If reserved (received or clearly postmarked) by May 7; $100 after. Make checks made payable to ‘Ready Set Go!’ Mail $50 non-refundable deposit to P.O. Box 1800, Kapa‘a. Pay balance (or register) at the door. First come, first served.
The instructor, Rick Cooper, is first assistant director member of the Directors Guild of America. He is ‘local hire’ on Kaua‘i and O‘ahu. His credits include: Outbreak, 6 Days/7 Nights, Hard Rain, Good Burger, Baywatch Hawai‘i, Shiloh and — pending release — The Tempest and Knots.
