Congratulations to the graduates of Kaua‘i Community College who celebrated their completion of courses Friday. For Kapa‘a High School’s Col. Jerald Knudsen, it marks the start of his retirement with a hectic schedule as he had the Kapa‘a Jr. ROTC color guard out for the celebration.
He said following this, they are scheduled to help at the Ag Awareness Day with 45 cadets and then the Kapa‘a High School graduation Friday.
Major Victor Aguilar could sit back and relax as his son Kevin Aguilar was one of the 291 graduates at KCC. He’ll be with the Waimea Jr. ROTC at the Waimea graduation, Friday as well.
Annette Baptiste was in the audience congratulating daughter Heather who graduated with a Record of Training in Massage Therapy, and where was Barbara Bloemke and those Growing Our Own Teachers?
Kudos to Ed Kawamura and his ‘ohana on a great, green expo (Leesha said she took the day off, but her cell phone didn’t and she had to go into the office for a couple of hours). Next on the agenda is the Ag Awareness Day in Wailua later this week.
