LIHU‘E — County officials are reminding residents in Lihu‘e, Puhi and sections of Hanama‘ulu that the new automated refuse collection is scheduled to begin on July 1.
Complete details of the automated system can be found in brochures that were hand delivered to impacted residents at the beginning of the month, a county news release states.
Along with the start of the automated refuse collection, the schedule for rubbish pickup for most residences on Kaua’i will change on July 1 — even for those who are not yet converting to the automated system.
