The Rainbow Wahine are making their first-ever appearance in the World Series.
UH (49-14) advanced after upsetting Alabama in the Super Regionals in Tuscaloosa after Jenna Rodriguez’s walk-off, two-run home run in the deciding third game. Missouri defeated Oregon twice in Columbia, Mo.
The game can be seen nationally on ESPN, on the internet at ESPN3.com, or on the radio at ESPN1420AM.com.
The UH-Mizzou game is also the opening game of the tournament.
The winner will meet the winner of fourth-seeded Florida and fifth-seeded UCLA with the loser facing the loser of that contest.
