Mahalo to Tom Clements for securing clearance for the rocket launches led by Jerry Nishihira and Alan Chun for the Young Presidents Organization, Friday.
Stu Burley wouldn’t miss this event (he was actually apprehensive about losing his KGB-7 rocket), and Dr. Francis Takahashi had six of the Kaua‘i Community College interns on the base to help.
Jerry was really good chatting with Madeline and Dylan Tanenbaum of Ontario, Canada, who were among the visting students.
Jay Pugh had the newest Battle Dress Utility uniform on, which looks a lot better in pictures.
Jay was too busy doing all kinds of other stuff, but Dr. Francis was talking megapixels with one of the interns, and earlier in the day, Brent Harrington of Kukui‘ula Development said he’s been toying around with his new Nikon D3Hs.
Veronica Lovesy is getting excited about the upcoming Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce AfterHours event at Tommy Bahamas, which is scheduled to open shortly, and starting Wednesday, there will be a Community Market at the Kukui‘ula Shopping Village from 4 to 6 p.m.
OK, time to start getting ready for Fourth of July.
