Tickets for the Kaua‘i Police Activities League Amateur Boxing Event are on sale now at locations around Kaua‘i.
Pre-sale admission prices are $10 and $20 for ringside seats. Admission at the door on Aug. 14 will be $12.
The K-PAL Amateur Boxing event will be held Aug. 14 at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu‘e. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the first bouts scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
Some of the bouts on the fight card include six K-PAL boxers going up against opponents from O‘ahu, Maui and the Big Island, in a draft of the fight card. Other bouts include fighters from around the state, some fighting unattached.
Jon Anthony Reyes of K-PAL is matched against Mike Kurita of Pearlside, Micah Fernandez of K-PAL is matched against Davis Haole of Central Maui, Domenick Ansagay of K-PAL is scheduled to battle Kalani Badiang of Pearlside, Kristopher Alcos of K-PAL is matched against Corey Cummings of Central Maui, Chucky Rapozo of K-PAL is matched with Nainoa Victor-Kailianu of the Big Island Boxing Club and Bryson Murata of K-PAL is matched with Kainoa Kuuamo of Central Maui.
Tickets are available at Richie’s, the K-PAL Boxing Gym in Lihu‘e, located across from the North Vidinha fields, Dynamic Tinting in Puhi, Sweet & Sassy in ‘Ele‘ele, the K-PAL Boxing gym in Hanapepe, Wong’s Restaurant in Hanapepe, Kujo’s in Kalaheo, and Scrapa Lifestylez in Hanama‘ulu.
