The season, which spans seven months and is divided up into three seven-game rounds, ended with the A’s claiming victory in each round. They went 6-1 in the first and 7-0 in the final two rounds to remain atop the standings.
East Kaua‘i was the second-place finisher in each round, going 5-2, 5-2 and 6-1 for a 16-5 overall mark.

All eight teams will now participate in the Statewide Senior Softball tournament, which is scheduled to be held Aug. 3-5 on Maui.
Each team statewide will be placed in brackets based on their regular-season records.
Kaua‘i will also be sending a contingent of players to the national 65 and over tournament held in Saint George, Utah and Mesquite, Nev. in October.
The Kaua‘i Senior Citizens Softball Association extended its thanks to the County of Kaua‘i Parks and Recreation Department for its commitment toward appropriately maintaining the playing conditions of the ball parks.
