Karen Sue Schade of Kapa‘a died July 5, 2010 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 54. Born July 14, 1955, she was employed by Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her father William Bell.
She is survived by her husband Marc Schade of Washington; daughter Kimberly (Troy) Freiley of Washington; hanai sons Timothy (Kimberly) Croasmun of Oregon, Joseph (Heathyrlen) Croasmun of Oregon and Charlie Guyette of California; mother Janet Wortman of Oregon; stepmother Virginia Bell of Ohio; sister Cheryl Croasmun of Montana; brother Jonathan (Liz) Bell of Oregon; stepsister Deborah (Thomas) Sniffen of Ohio; stepbrother William “Garth” (Deanna) Bell of Florida; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, at Lydgate Beach Park. There will be a memorial potluck. Lei and loose flowers are welcome.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
