Tradewinds, in Waipouli, is one of the oldest and most fun bars on Kaua‘i. Beer, drinks, music, dancing, and lots of flirting and mingling go hand in hand in this popular island bar.
Island beauty Tasha White does it all: she tends bar a few nights and works as a cocktail waitress on other nights.
Her famous creation, the “Melon Ball,” is a refreshing drink, with a zest of li hing mui on the rim.
Tasha may work in one the busiest bars on Kaua‘i, but she’s still a homegirl. She’s got three children, and her boyfriend — yes, she has a boyfriend — has two. It’s definitely family time any time spent outside of work.
Both of her boys play on the Kapa‘a Pop Warner football teams, and her 7-year-old daughter goes along as a cheerleader. After all, Tasha also doubles as a cheerleading coach.
Oh, yeah, and if you think she gave you her phone number, check it again. She tells all her admirers they can find her at 911.
