There were no major injuries in a two-car accident Friday morning on Nawiliwili Road near one of the entrances to Kukui Grove Center, Kaua‘i Police Department officers said. At around 9:51 a.m. officers responded to the collision. According to the preliminary report, a Toyota four-door sedan operated by a 74-year-old woman entered the intersection and was struck by a Ford sport-utility vehicle (above) driven by a man, 68, who had been heading southbound on Nawiliwili Road. The woman was alone in her vehicle. The man and his wife, also 68, and the driver of the sedan, were all taken by American Medical Response ambulance to Wilcox Memorial Hospital, where they were all treated and released.
