The Coffee Cube has been open less than a month, but it’s all that caffeine junkies have been talking about.
The Coffee Cube is the first and only drive-through coffee shop on Kaua‘i. It also offers the refreshing and caffeine-boosted “Granita,” a delicious, slush-type, mocha drink.
Owner Hayley West, with that unmistakable Aussie accent that everyone loves, seems to do things on impulse. After all, she got engaged only five days after meeting her future husband. The following month she dragged her helicopter pilot to the Land Down Under, where they tied the knot.
The Coffee Cube, however, might not have been an impulse thing. After the wedding Hayley moved to the U.S. following her husband to every state where he would get a job.
For five years Hayley would see drive-through places all over the Mainland. When they moved to Kaua‘i a few months ago Hayley decided to bring the idea here.
The Coffee Cube is open seven days a week. On weekdays it’s open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. On weekends it’s open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
