LIHU‘E — Apollo Kaua‘i, Zero Waste and People for the Preservation of Kaua‘i present a mayoral and council candidate forum Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Kapa‘a Elementary School cafeteria, a press release states.
The public will have a chance to meet and greet candidates from 3 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a facilitated question-and-answer forum.
Questions have been formulated by representatives of the sponsoring organizations, as well as by representatives from agriculture and Native Hawaiian communities.
There will be a CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) bulb exchange courtesy of Blue Planet.
The forum will be recorded and re-broadcast on KKCR and Ho‘ike Kaua‘i Community Television until the Nov. 2 general election.
The candidates’ forum is free and open to the public.
