Luciano Yadao
Luciano “Ciano” Baclig Yadao of Hanama‘ulu died in Kahului, Maui on Oct. 24, 2010 at age 98. Born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines on Jan. 1, 1912, he was a push rake operator with Lihu‘e Plantation.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Buenaflora Yadao, and son, Jerry Yadao.
He is survived by his children: Warren Yadao of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Janice Neptune of California; Yvonne Martin of California; Robert Yadao of Honolulu and Encarnacion (Manolo) Mendez of Maui; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be on Thursday, Nov. 4, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing at 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
The family requests casual attire.

Marian Stalzer
Marian J. Sullivan Stalzer of Koloa died Oct. 26, 2010 at Garden Island Health Care, Lihu‘e, at the age of 78. Born on Jan. 8, 1932 in Albien, Neb., she was a homemaker.
She is survived by daughter Michelle (Kelly) Dillberg; brother Jim; sister Dorothy; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at St. Raphael’s Church, Koloa. Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. with fellowship to follow at the Dillberg family home.
The family suggests that flowers and donations be omitted, and attendees wear aloha attire.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary, Koloa.
Patrick Nagao
Patrick Nagao of Wailua died at home on Oct. 25, 2010 at the age of 67. He was born in Kealia on May 26, 1943 and retired from the Carpenters Union and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Nagao.
He is survived by two sons, Rodney (Rhonda) Nagao of Honolulu, and Eric Nagao of Wailua; one daughter, Patricia (Andy) Chong of Wailua; six grandchildren: Lauren Nagao, Haley Nagao, Aron Nagao, Brandon Chong, Davin Chong, Kimi Chong; three brothers: Stanley (Shirley) Nagao, Allan Nagao, Brian (Laura) Nagao; and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at Niumalu Beach Park at 1 p.m., with luncheon to follow.

Teresa Hayes
Teresa Hayes of Kalaheo died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at the age of 56. Born in Oklahoma on Sept. 4, 1954, she was an amazing manager of family owned-and-operated plumbing company Pipemasters Plumbing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Bell of California, sister, Sherry Jones of California, and her best four-legged friend Buddy.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Lonny” Hayes of Kalaheo; son, Scott Perdue of Arizona; daughter Amy Perdue of Puhi; son Nathan (Erin) Hayes of Kalaheo; son John Tyler Barchek of California; three stepchildren: daughter Jennifer (Steve) McCarty of California; daughter Brandy Hayes of California; son Jeff (Kelly) Hayes of California; four granddaughters: Lea Gayle, Emma Terheggen-Hayes, Brooke Hayes, Lauren McCarty; four grandsons: Ronald “Bubba” Gayle, Simon Hayes, Elliott Hayes, Leon McCarty; and numerous neighborhood children she was known to take care of whenever they needed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at Salt Pond Beach Park at 4 p.m.

Carl Moller
Carl A. Moller of Kapa‘a died on Oct. 22, 2010 at Straub Hospital, O‘ahu. Born on Dec. 19, 1925 in Champaign, Ill., he was a supervisor for Ford Motor Company.
Preceded in death by wife Katherine Moller and daughter Cynthia Moller, he is survived by granddaughter Iris.
Family members may visit with the family for a graveside service on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park, Lihu‘e.
