Arlene Yoshimori, Jennifer Klein and Pamela Anderson all shared the same birthday, Nov. 18. Arlene, who was helping serve at the Hawai‘i Fire Chiefs Association conference, said they all sang “Happy Birthday” to each other, but she was special because her anniversary was on Nov. 16 (heard about that one from Jason Fujinaka on FM97).
Congratulations to Kaua‘i Fire Chief Robert Westerman and the Kaua‘i Fire Department on doing a great job coordinating the chiefs’ conference at the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa. Ran into Gary Smith, and it’s not even Shattered Dreams time.
On the other side of the island, John Kaneholani had a long day, starting with cheering his grandchildren (one from Hanalei School, one from ‘Ele‘ele School) at the FIRST LEGO League expo, and then getting over to Kapa‘a High School for the Green-and-White basketball game.
