A Gold Party will precede the free Kapa‘a Middle School’s Winter Choral Concert, Wednesday, at the school’s covered court.
There is no admission to the concert, which starts at 7 p.m., but guests can browse through offerings at the country store which will feature plants, vegetables, crafts and other items.
The Gold Party allows people with unwanted gold to sell with an experienced gold buyer testing and weighing the gold. Once assessed, the gold is purchased at top dollar based on the daily market values of the commodity. The seller has the option to accept to decline the offer.
This is a new facet to the annual holiday concert featuring choir members from the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades as well as the Kapa‘a Middle School ‘Ukulele Band directed by Loke Sasil.
The choral groups will be directed by Mary Lardizabal.
A portion of the total sales that evening will be contributed to the Kapa‘a Middle School Choir and ‘Ukulele Band to help defray the costs of their trip to the Heritage Music Festival.
