If there was a Black Friday for crafters, Saturday must have been it because starting with Marissa Sanbloom and the Grove Farm Swap Meet, there were at least six to choose from.
Kenny Miyoshi got Calvin Fukushima to come and help with Masa’s Shave Ice, and Kerry Oda had his whole family out with everybody busy.
Raylene Gampon said the Girl Scouts will be at the King Kaumuali‘i fair this weekend with decorated theme books and bags made of tie-dye. She was working on those things while watching the Kalaheo School Sunshine Express rehearsal where Wendy Oyama got to try her hand at lettering instead of making pies for Mark’s Place.
But it doesn’t end on Saturday as Debbie Yanagihara said she wants to check out Lorna Santos’ Lawai Cannery garage sale Sunday to benefit Waimea High School Project Grad.
