• The article “Nakamura, Castillo retain county jobs,” published Dec. 2, should have stated that Councilman Mel Rapozo said Police Commissioner Tom Iannucci informed the council at a prior meeting that the commission chose the executive-search option because they didn’t feel there were qualified candidates within the Kaua‘i Police Department for the position of chief of police.
