Avery Kano said Daphne Sanchez, the 2011 Miss Island Mokihana, should be in the Waimea Lighted Parade, and Josie said Steve Klein and the Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital staff borrowed their Santa’s Sleigh for the parade as well.
All of that means we go to soccer and head west before the traffic gets shut down for the parade — mahalo to coach Bill Lemke for making sure results come in from all the soccer games.
