County officials announced that a spring break sports camp for youths ages 8 to 12 will be offered at the Kalaheo and Kilauea neighborhood centers, March 14-18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Entitled “Athletes Who Rock”, the week-long camp integrates sports with character- and team-building, health and fitness education and life skills.
The camp is sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Hawai’i Recreation and Parks Association.
Registration for the camp will be held at the respective neighborhood centers on March 3 and 4, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
The cost per child is $15. Enrollment is limited.
Only checks or money orders made payable to HRPA Kaua‘i will be accepted.
Parents must provide lunch and beverages for their children daily.
