Charlene “Mikie” Mikahala McKeague of Hanama‘ulu died Jan. 10, 2011, at her residence at age 63. Born April 17, 1947, on O‘ahu, she was a cook and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by sister Florence Manuel.
She is survived by husband Stanley McKeague Sr.; son Stanley McKeague Jr.; step-daughter Lulu Ormond; sisters Mary Grace Coronel, Sherlene Kamaka, Sharon (Michael) Hinton, Helen (Monte) Mc Comber, Emily (Greg) Torres, Alice (Dorotedo) Vasquez, Florene Hoopili, Nadine (Gary) Kawamura, Meling Hoopili; brother John Hoopili Jr., Joseph (the late Fredlynn) Hoopili, Antone Hoopili, Rhinehart (Charon) Hoopili, Gustave (Yvonne) Hoopili, Jonah (BillieJo) Hoopili; hanai children Trish Arizo, Leann Tubal, Jeremy Ledward, Jamee Penn; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Kapa‘a First Hawaiian. Visitation is 8:30-10:30 a.m. Service is 10:30-11 a.m.
Family requests casual attire and no flowers.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Peter “Uncle Pete” Kealoha Sr. of Kalaheo, Kaua‘i passed away on Jan. 26, 2011 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Born on May 31, 1938 in Hanama‘ulu, Kaua‘i he was a Tour Guide with Polynesian Adventure Tours.
He was preceded in death by father David Kealoha and mother Hannah Racoma.
He is survived by wife Yvonne Kealoha; children Peter (Momi) Kealoha Jr., Sharon Sanico, Rene Mau, Hannah Kealoha, Sarah Kealoha, Sam Kealoha, Jesse (Odelia) Kealoha, Sweetie (Gaylord) Kahale, John (Nohea) Kealoha, Yvette (Lyle) Naka‘ahiki, John (Charla) Brock, Elena (Leina‘ala) Kealoha; hanai daughter Maria Finazzo; sisters Hannah Noblisse, Mary (Joe) Blakstad, Marta (Donald) Moniz, Hirene Chase; brothers David Kealoha Jr., William Racoma; 30 grandchildren and 36 greatgrandchildren.
Services to be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Visitation at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Alexander Youn
Alexander Youn passed away on Feb. 5, 2011 at his home in Kapa‘a at the age of 97. He was born on Jan. 2, 1914 in Koloa, Kaua‘i.
He was a retired supervisor for Hawaiian Fruit Packers.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian Youn; parents Youn Dai Won and Beatrice Gomez Youn; brothers Frank and John Youn; sister Beatrice Naone.
He is survived by his sons Alex, Gilmore, Avery and James Youn; daughters Lolita (Ray) Gefroh, Alexis (Royden) Niiyama, Avis (Jonathan) Tom, Healani (Kelii) Youn; brother Antone Youn; sisters Mary Ker, Dolores Keliikipi, Therese (Leslie) Almeida; 19 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorthia Hartless
Dorthia Ragland Hartless, 82, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 in Graham, Texas. Born on Nov. 28, 1928 in Young County, Texas. She was an American Red Cross Blood Program Volunteer for over 30 years.
She is survived by her daughters Elaine Hartless of Lihuæe, Hawaii, Karen Hartless Kelley of Georgetown; sons Daniel Hartless of Sherman, Ken Hartless of Colleyville, sister; Ima Lee Hawkins of Graham, brother; Don Ragland of Breckenridge; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to greet friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Eastside Church of Christ.
Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
