The university announced Wednesday that it signed an agreement to host the event with Hawai‘i facing Portland on Tuesday night.
The Rainbow Warriors could play again later in the week if they win.
UH athletics director Jim Donovan says tickets will be sold at a lower rate than the regular season to thank the fans.
According to the UH website, season-ticket holders will receive an informational e-mail today and are urged to purchase their tickets online at Hawai‘iAthletics.com for Tuesday and Friday (both games are required, but credit cards will only be charged for Friday’s contest if UH hosts a second-round game).
Season-ticket holders regular-season seats will be held until Friday evening and released for general public online sale Saturday at 12 p.m. Season-ticket holders can also purchase their seats at the Stan Sheriff Box Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. today or Friday or prior to the men’s volleyball match Friday night at 7 p.m. (box office opens at 5 p.m.).
Non-season ticket holders can purchase tickets online beginning Saturday at noon. They can also buy tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office prior to the men’s volleyball match on Saturday or during normal box office hours (9 a.m. until 5 p.m.) beginning Monday.
Fans can also call 944-BOWS (2697) beginning on Monday at 9 a.m. but there are limited phone lines. Therefore, fans are encouraged to purchase online (HawaiiAthletics.com) and can do so 24 hours a day.
