After a long day of work trying to make ends meet, it’s not unusual to wonder about a lost innocence.
“Where is my inner child?” you may be asking yourself.
Whenever page designer Soren Velice has this kind of conflict, he wastes no time in going straight back to his childhood, when he hung out in 711s, slaking his thirst with slurpees.
But Soren is a grown man now, and can’t help it but admit that his sweet tooth needs something else: fermented sugar.
Soren has come up with the ultimate solution to a problem that has almost sent him to psychiatric treatment. He had the brilliant idea of adding rum — fermented sugar cane liquor — to his favorite slurpee drink.
“Slurpee Libre” is the evolution of the popular Cuba Libre. It’s a giant slurpee with a generous shot of Bacardi Gold (or any spiced) rum.
Unfortunately, this won’t work if you live far away from the slurpee source. We recommend you fill up your slurpee cup and hurry home to enjoy this drink that would set not just Cuba, but the entire Caribbean, free from imperialist forces.

Gold Bacardi rum
Inner child
Pour a large or extra-large slurpee cup, and ask daddy or mommy todrive you home — it works better that way, you’ll feel more like achild. Once home, bust out that gold rum and pour a couple shotsinto the slurpee. You’re ready to release that inner child.
