Daniel said some of the Alaska kids came from zero, and minus-five degree temperatures and weren’t used to the Kaua‘i heat, but the scenery more than made up for that.
Congratulations to Waimea coach Teddy Perreira and his committee on a great softball tournament. Coaches Pat Baniaga and Albert Soto wouldn’t miss that for the world, even if they had to trade in their poinciana tree for the tent city.
