Masaichi Ajimura of Hanapepe died March 23, 2011 at his home at the age of 88. Born on January 12, 1923, in Makaweli, Kaua‘i. He was a retired fireman with the County of Kaua‘i, and was part of the 442 regiment.
He was preceded in death by his son Alvin Ajimura; daughters Shelley and Vickie Ajimura.
He is survived by his wife Yuriko Ajimura; sons, Clyde Ajimura of Ele‘ele, Wayne Ajimura of Hanapepe; daughters, Lynn Viquela, Mary Ajimura both of California; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Jane Y. Mitchell of Honolulu; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at noon on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion; service at 1 p.m., followed by burial.
Casual attire is suggested.
